Today’s scriptures invite us to take a step back and look at our world in a different way – without our sight. We are reminded that God does not see as we see, God is Holy Mystery, God is our Creator. It is easy to get caught up in our own struggles, and we can get caught up in looking at our lives through the lens of hopelessness, despair and deep seeded concern. When we do this we run the risk of running into potholes, lamp poles, and other day to day hazards. What would happen if we let God guide us? What would happen if we let God be our Seeing-eye dog? How might our lives be different?
