The bread that came down from heaven
In John’s gospel, Jesus offers his body and blood to his followers as a way to let his life and presence live in them. And of course we too would have Christ live in us. So we gather at the Table to receive the life Christ gives, and in the beauty of the table, for our eyes to open to the beauty of our world.
