Isaiah 12:2-6 Proclaim God’s deed to the nations. Philippians 4:4-7 Rejoice in God always! In this season of giving, we can sometimes walk away feeling empty, burdened, frustrated and guilty. The scriptures today remind us that we are not to worry about anything. As we prepare for the birth of Jesus we should be taking time to be thankful, to pray and to simply share what we have with one another — in giving we receive as the saying goes. So on White Gift Sunday let us share our lives with one another. For those of us who have two coats, let us share with someone who has none; and whoever has food must do likewise. Let these be the gifts that we offer each other on White Gift Sunday, and let us bring joy to one another and be filled rather then emptied, be free rather then burdened, be thankful instead of guilty in this season of Advent. As this was the Christmas Pageant, there was only a short message which was not recorded.
