Eternal Light
Christ-light, shining on the mountain-top, in the midst of prayer, viewed through eyes struggling to stay awake — ancestors of the faith bearing witness, words of God speaking from a cloud. This moment reveals who Jesus truly is, and in light of this revelation, we have an opportunity to see who we truly are. “In your light we see light” — and in your loving wisdom, we know ourselves as if for the first time.
