Open the window and walk the road with Christ

Luke 19: 28-40 Jesus enters Jerusalem to cheering crowds.

Psalm 118:1-2, 19-29 The stone that the builders rejected.
Isaiah 50:4-9a They struck my back and plucked my beard.

It’s time to make a choice. On Palm Sunday, as we join in the procession that Jesus leads us on into Jerusalem, we will explore the true meaning of “Servanthood.” What will we experience in this choice? Where is God leading the procession today? It is time to stop reflecting out the window and with one last look in the mirror it is time to step out into the world prepared and willing to walk with the suffering, to reach out with a word of comfort, and to live out the hope that we find in our faith. Palm Sunday is a time of great rejoicing and a time to open our hearts with compassion and honest so that truth can be found and good news of Jesus Christ the bearer of peace can be shared.
