Today we hear the story of how Paul put his life on the line. He stood strong in his convictions and

obeyed God rather than any human authority. For Paul, to obey God is to have faith, is to trust in God. In contrast we hear the story of Thomas who would not trust and believe until he had physical proof. This is our challenge today, we need to discern how we are to act and live out our faith, how will we in today’s world live our faith with conviction in the face of derision and judgement?
