The writings from both Paul and John help us to explore the nature of our relationship with God, with Jesus and with the Holy Spirit – the trinity. Life is never easy, but today Paul tells us that we should boast in our suffering. John reminds us that Jesus warned the disciples that they may not be able to bear all the things he told them, but now is the time for us to bear the truth, to live out this truth so that we will come to receive the peace of God which is freely given to us. listen
