John 15: 5-11 I am the vine you are the branches.
Psalm 139:1-18 God you have searched me and know me.
This Sunday we celebrate our children as they lead us in worship. Children are taught from a young age what it means to play together, to work together, to share and to love. On this Sunday we will see God’s world through the eyes of children and celebrate the beauty that comes from a place of innocence, hope, trust, and a willingness to be God’s family here on earth.
The sermon was a dramatic and liturgical dance that was based on the words from Psalm 139. In the drama, I dramatized the struggle one might have with God. As the music began, I took off the stole and the alb. The voice talking to me was God. As the music changed, I became aware of God’s spirit moving with me, holding me, nudging me…that was depicted in a dance. We hope to post the a video of this presentation at some point. listen .
