We proclaim in our statement of faith that we are called to live with respect in creation. Nature is beauty, peace, tranquility and nature is destructive, stormy, and powerful. Water has the power to soothe, and the power to destroy. Humans have the capacity to degrade, erode, and hate and with God in our lives, humans can love, be compassionate, and generous. In this season of lent how might our connection with the environment move us from brokenness to restoration and reconciliation?
