What is our place? Where do we put down roots? Where is home? The church has been misplaced in our society over the past decade. In many ways we have become exiles in a secular world. It is time to reclaim our place in our neighbourhoods. We have a place, we have a role to play in upholding the Spirit of justice in our land. Like the dry bones in Ezekiel’s vision, God is breathing new life into us, and resurrecting and transforming the parish. What will happen when we engage our neighbours and reclaim our place?
