In the scriptures from 1 Kings, we hear Solomon’s prayer to God for wisdom and understanding for governing his people. Solomon is worried and lives in a bit of fear. His father King David was blessed and loved, but will Solomon be able to do this? We are given an image today of new life emerging from an old stump.
