The stories of Creation reflect the awareness of a common origin amoung the human family. As such, they give a foundation from which to affirm, and indeed to cultivate the recognition of ourselves in one another—the hope of unity and peace in our world. Today, more than ever before, we long for the way to unity, peace, and global community. So we look again for wisdom in the stories of “the time when Yahweh God made erth and heaven.” What is the secret of peace for you?
