Mark 10:32-52 . Bartimaeus Healed

The disciples are suffering from spiritual blindness. James and John dream of power and position and thus ask Jesus to grant them something that they want, which is not his to grant. These disciples have been blinded by their leadership like so many of us in the world. Jesus teaches us about servant leadership and teaches the disciples that he is not here to be served, but rather to serve. How will we embrace our call to servant leadership and be cured of our spiritual blindness and the lure of success?
