The commandment to love Yahweh your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength stands at the centre of Jesus’ faith. It really challenges us to love God with our whole self. And the next is to love your neighbour as yourself. Who is our neighbour? Today, the whole world is our neighbour. So we are enjoined to love the whole human family; and to love with our whole self. It may sound perfectionistic, but Jesus was more about wholeness than perfection. What is the next step for you as you grow ever and ever more fully into wholeness?
