The prophet Habakkuk lived in troubled times. Like many of us today Habakkuk witnessed violence, conflict, suffering and injustice. Habakkuk had two questions for God: Why does God allow these things to happen, and how is this justice? The book of Habakkuk is a dialogue between God and humanity. Habakkuk argues with God and tries to understand God’s actions which seem meaningless and mysterious. God’s reply is transformative.
