Look what they did! They must have meant it as a slight? Right? We often watch others do things and ascribe to those things – both the good and the ugly – intentions. We want the world to fit into good/bad, us/them, and we limit our hopes and expect others to intend the worst. This is especially easy in the comments section of any blog, post or tweet! Now is the time to ask the hard questions of a new year: will we go for the easy definition of “them”?
