Job 1:1; 2:1-10 and Hebrews 1: 1-4; 2: 5-12
On this day of gratitude and thanksgiving we are reminded of the importance of having faith and living an authentic Christian life. We will hear the story of God’s faith in Job when he was chosen to be tempted by Satan. What motivated Job to respond with faith, even when his wife questioned it? What motivated Jesus to respond to God’s call, even when it meant suffering, and ultimately death? What motivates you to respond in faith to God’s call? Why do we respond with gratitude and generosity?
