With these self-imposed expectations of how to be a good mother, there comes fear, anxiety, and worry that they won’t be enough, won’t have enough, or will fail in motherhood. The gift of a child is overwhelming, and it is in these moment that we need to focus on the simple things, like friendship, support, counting our blessings.
