Luke 4:14-21

How do some words come to mean such different things over time? Precious metals are rare, strong and long lasting yet “you are precious” has come to express fragility. Words and knowledge change over time and we are called to seek out how the Kin-dom of God can increase through its combination: wisdom. But to open our minds and learn new things is uncomfortable and feels threatening, even when we are perfectly safe! Let us dance that line of pain and possibility, supporting one another in the challenge to learn and accept!
