As we listen and explore the story of Zaccheaus (a tax-collector of small stature) we see Jesus’ mission, of seeking out the lost, in action. How many of us are presently holding God’s call at arms-length? How will Jesus’ invitation be received by the distant observers? Will we be inspired and transformed into faithful disciples? How do the scriptures, our prayers and our worship lead us toward the light and help us grow in faith?
