God is offering us both guidance and rest in this Psalm. Spiritual friendships are those in which we are asked to both receive and give guidance as well as rest. After resting from judgement in the warmth of compassion, how can we help guide each other into growth. How can we deepen relationships with others, and our relationships with God, so as to live out what we value in the world? What – from your past or present – is blinding you to God’s invitation to live full, abundantly and loving one another?
