We are the church because of being God’s children, following Jesus and the free gift of the Holy Spirit. Paul teaches us that the one Spirit makes the church and moves it. He also notes that we are all gifted in different ways so as to the Church’s mission: to live out and proclaim love divine! Let us celebrate this Pentecost Sunday discerning how we best can proclaim that love in our own time and place because of the Spirit’s gifts.
