The passing on of the mantle is an archetypal story. There comes a point in our life when it is our turn to take the mantle of those who have come before. How do we honour what they have done and been to us? How will our lives and action be a tribute to what we have seen, heard, and learned in our time together? To be strong in faith is to accept one’s vulnerability and receive the grace which God freely offers.
