Most of us have experienced a moment or an event which we would describe as life-changing. They are very personal moments and often defy description. We try to tell friends and loved ones about that moment and often the response is a bored stare. or they say “that’s nice dear”. In the 21st century we would earn ourselves a quick trip to the psych ward if we were to try to describe our experience of the holy in the graphic manner of the Book of Acts. And yet…we must try. Otherwise we give voice only to the mundane and not the sacred of our lives.
