In a world that values independence it can be difficult to ask for help, or to name what it is we need. As people of faith, we are called to live in relationship with one another. This can be challenging when we are condemned or judged for who we are, or hurt by the ones we love. Even Jesus was judged and questioned in his ministry but he never lost hope. Jesus reached out to God for help and God has given us Jesus to be our guide and help in times of trials and trouble. So it is time to reach out to our guide and our light and sing, “I want Jesus to go with me.”
