The psalm reminds us that we are in relationship with God, a covenantal relationship. We have committed to listen and trust in God to guide us and that we will act in faith, and God has promised to listen, remember and respond to us. It is in the spirit of gratitude and generosity that we reach out to others. It is the Spirit of God that turns out focus back to God, which leads us to live an emerging faith while honouring tradition, for we are called to be a blessing to the earth.
