Jesus cries over a city that “kills the prophets” and compromises on all things as a way to keep an uneasy peace. We are reminded that it is not in the role of the prophet to compromise or to sugar-coat. We are invited once more to discern the way of peace through justice; to look at the radical work of Jesus as a call to uncompromising love for ALL. God is our light, our guide, whom then shall we fear?
