Caring for a child, an elderly parent, or a pet is a commitment of love. According to The Virtues Project “Commitment is caring deeply about a person, a goal or a belief…we make promises and keep them. We go the extra mile. We are faithful to our relationships and don’t allow problems to make us waver.” Now is the time to reflect on our commitment to God and to the call of discipleship. Are we ready to commit to serving God, and if so how will we live out this commitment in the world?
