The seeds of hope are planted not only in the earth, but also in you and me. What does it take to grow these seeds? It begins by believing that there is hope. The death and resurrection of Jesus according to Luke leads identifies, according to Donald Senior, that “the suffering and death of Jesus were to be understood not as an ultimate defeat of God’s purpose, but as the necessary pathway to new life.” Jesus taught the disciples about the importance of hospitality and relationship, hope grows when understand our interconnectedness with each other and all of creation. God has truly blessed us and for this we give thanks.
