Paul writes to the Philippians imploring them to rejoice in the Lord always! Sometimes we equate happiness with joy, but joy is different. Joy fill us with delight and hope, it reminds us to enjoy the simple pleasures of life. Joy can carry us through our anguish and the often painful times that exist. Where will we find this inner joy in a world that seems deeply seeded in anguish? How will our joy be heard in the midst of the negative messages in our day to day living? How will we prepare for the arrive of the Emmanuel?
