We, like Mary, do not always understand completely what the prophets foretold. We like the people in the temple and the disciples who come later in Jesus’ ministry do not always understand the significance of what Jesus is teaching us and showing us in his words and actions. We begin the journey with Jesus by first clothing ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience. What virtue do you identify with most? How will you use this gift to bring God’s message here on earth?
