Luke 3:15-17, 21-22 • Jesus is baptized by John.

The prophet Isaiah brings the good news that we are precious in God’s sight. And no matter what we face, God will be with us through it all. As we seek news ways to live our faith in the world, we too are called to not be afraid. John the Baptist, did not feel worthy to baptize Jesus, but Jesus assured him that he was. As John baptized Jesus the Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus. The Holy Spirit now works through us and others inspiring us to be generous in what we have been given, so bringing new life and a new way of being here on earth.
