Jesus teaches us that we do not live by bread alone. Being people of faith, we can trust in the promise that our souls will never thirst or be hungry again when we follow Jesus, and live by his word. When we learn to open our hearts to the love of God and when we learn to love as Jesus has commanded us, we will see the face of God in every person we meet, both stranger and friend. What are the things in your life that are temptations leading you away from the love of God? What do you need to release in order to fully accept and connect with people in a deeper and more vulnerable way? And when we do this, what will we discover about who we are and what God is calling us to do?
